The Deep End is my first attempt at building a wooded frame & base for this custom piece. The foam was applied to a plastic sheet first and when dry it was peeled off and applied "raised up" off the frame base to make it seem to be floating. Primed & painted next. Epoxy resin was mixed with rose color pigment, then carefully poured around all the raised foam. Completion time 33 days.
